The following layouts can be used to produce a photo positive on a laser or inkjet printer in scale 1:1 to allow the fabrication of circuit boards. Please note the layouts are all provided in mirror image, to allow the toner or ink side of the film to be placed in contact with the photo resist. If this is a problem, most photo editing software will allow easy reversal if necessary.
Although it is not intended as an endorsement of a specific manufacturer, Alvin AR23470 Presentation film has worked very well when used with a laser printer in the past. Some experimentation with other films may be necessary.
It has been found that inkjet printer images don't work to well due to numerous tiny pinhole problems. If an inkjet printer must be used, it is best to use two films on top of each other to strengthen the opaqueness of the layout pattern.
